Jiminy Peak Teams with Burton Snowboards

Hancock, MA - Massachusetts ski and snowboard resort Jiminy Peak announced today a new affiliation with Burton Snowboards. All of Jiminy’ Snowsports School programs including SKIWee and the GET Center will be Burton Learn to Ride centers.

Program Aims to Encourage British Skiing and Snowboarding Participation

London, UK - Forget sunscreen and beaches, a major new campaign to encourage Brits onto the ski slopes and to `Give Snow a Go’ this winter is being launched by the Snowsport Forum, a consortium of Britain’s top ski tour operators and associations, and is the theme of this year’s National Ski and Snowboard Week, November 12-18. It’s an initiative to break down the taboos of winter sports and encourage more Brits to get out and try skiing and snowboarding.

Idaho’s Tamarack Expands Into 5,000 Acres of Backcountry Ski Terrain

Donnelly, ID - Tamarack Resort is adding 5,000 acres of expert backcountry ski and snowboard terrain this winter. Under a special use permit from the U.S. Forest Service, the Idaho resort will offer guided backcountry services on terrain to the north and south of the resort boundaries.
