Hancock, MA - Massachusetts ski and snowboard resort Jiminy Peak announced today a new affiliation with Burton Snowboards. All of Jiminy Snowsports School programs including SKIWee and the GET Center will be Burton Learn to Ride centers.

London, UK - Forget sunscreen and beaches, a major new campaign to encourage Brits onto the ski slopes and to `Give Snow a Go this winter is being launched by the Snowsport Forum, a consortium of Britains top ski tour operators and associations, and is the theme of this years National Ski and Snowboard Week, November 12-18. It’s an initiative to break down the taboos of winter sports and encourage more Brits to get out and try skiing and snowboarding.

Donnelly, ID - Tamarack Resort is adding 5,000 acres of expert backcountry ski and snowboard terrain this winter. Under a special use permit from the U.S. Forest Service, the Idaho resort will offer guided backcountry services on terrain to the north and south of the resort boundaries.
