Crested Butte Ski Resort Owners Close on Management of Hotel

Mt. Crested Butte, CO - Tim and Diane Mueller, owners of Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR), have closed a deal with CB Lodging LLC to purchase the commercial units and management of the Grand Lodge Hotel in Mt. Crested Butte.

Snowboarding Movie Premieres in Park City, New York City

Park City, UT - On Wednesday evening, Park City Mountain Resort will present the world premiere of City. Park City., a film by Jim Mangan with an opening scene and introduction directed by Whitey McConnaughy. The film will be shown on a large outdoor screen on the Town Lift Plaza. This is the first all-resort 16 mm film and features many of the Park City All Stars including Shaun White, Jeremy Jones, Marc Frank Montoya and Erin Comstock. The film’s East Coast premiere will take place in New York on Oct. 11.

Record Ski and Snowboard Season at Coronet Peak

Queenstown, New Zealand - The 2006 winter season at New Zealand’s Coronet Peak Ski Area came to a close yesterday, 109 days after opening on June 15. Ski area manager Duncan Smith said it was a season of contrasts which achieved record visitor numbers.
