Volvo X Over Ride Brings Easter Ski and Snowboard Events to Kitzsteinhorn

Kaprun, Austria - From April 6 to 9, all freeriders and slopestyle artists on skis and snowboards will have the opportunity to show their skills in the off-piste at Langwied and at the new Central Park at Kitzsteinhorn. Their rewards will be prizes and after-parties at the Castle Kaprun in this Austrian ski and snowboard resort.

New Spa to Open at Peek’n Peak Ski Resort

Findley Lake, NY - The Spa at PeekÂ’n Peak Resort and Conference Center, a new full-service day spa at the western New York ski and snowboard resort, will open for the first time on Sunday, April 15. Mancuso Wins; Californians Sweep Super G at Alpine Ski Championships

Girdwood, AK - Julia Mancuso (Olympic Valley, CA), who just completed the best U.S. women’s World Cup overall ski racing season since 1984, earned the eighth national title of her career Saturday, winning the super G at the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships as Californians swept the podium at Alyeska ski and snowboard resort south of Anchorage.

Freeman, Mannix Win U.S. Pursuit Titles

Presque Isle, ME - Kris Freeman (Andover, NH) earned his third U.S. skiing title of the season Friday - and his ninth overall - while Taz Mannix (Anchorage, AK) collected the first of her career in the pursuit races opening the last phase of the U.S. Cross Country Championships.

Sullivan Earns Gold at U.S. Alpine Ski Championships

Successful Shoulder Surgery for Spillane

Salt Lake City, UT - Former nordic combined sprint world champion Johnny Spillane (Steamboat Springs, CO) is resting and rehabbing his right shoulder after surgery to repair a broken bone with cadavers. He plans to be “ready to roll” for next ski season.

Freeman, Mannix Repeat U.S. Cross Country Skiing Titles

Stiegler Takes First U.S. Ski Racing Title

Girdwood, AK - Resi Stiegler (Jackson Hole, WY) shook off the frustration of giving away the slalom title a year ago and laid down the fastest second run Sunday as she barged her way to her first national ski racing title, winning the slalom at the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships.
