Web of Ski Resort Ownership at The Canyons Tangles Further

Park City, UT - As American Skiing Company (ASC) fades from existence, the scramble for ownership of The Canyons became further complicated on Monday with the filing of additional litigation over the proposed deal to sell the Utah ski and snowboard resort to the Toronto, Canada-based real estate investment firm, Talisker Corporation.

U.S. Ski Resort Revenues Top $2 Billion: Study

Dublin, Ireland - A study by Irish business research firm Research and Markets has found that the U.S. ski resort industry includes about 350 companies, over 400 ski areas, and combined annual revenue of $2 billion, the firm announced Monday.

Fabien Barel of France takes first in the Canadian Open Downhill at Kokanee Crankworx 2007

The final event at Kokanee Crankworx 2007, the Canadian Open DH took place in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park on Sunday. Fabien Barel of France took first place with a time of 2:54.1. Riders had one run on this skill testing DH course to post their best time.

Ski vs. Snowboard: Who Rules the Rails?
