Mt. Crested Butte, CO - This year’s July 4th celebration in the Gunnison Valley includes an evening of entertainment for all ages in Mt. Crested Butte. The festivities include the grand opening of the Colorado ski resort’s new Adventure Park complete with climbing tower, bungee trampolines and a year-round synthetic ice rink, as well as BBQ and beer at Butte 66, live music from the Casey James Prestwood Band, and a fitting finale of fireworks at dusk.

Vancouver (BC), Canada - Four new riders have been added to the Canadian Halfpipe Snowboard Team, increasing the team size from eight to 12 riders as depth, competitiveness and intensity increases within the Canadian snowboarding scene closing in on the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver this upcoming February.

Park City, UT - Inspired by the new Center of Excellence in Park City, U.S. Cross Country Ski Team Coaches Peter Vordenberg, Matt Whitcomb and Pat Casey are spearheading a select development training program this summer for young cross country skiers. The National Training Group (NTG), which is comprised of a group of rising athletes, allows the cross country ski coaches to use these resources to provide real exposure and superior training to the next group of future Olympians.
