Kucera, Gagnon and Woolstencroft Named Canadian Alpine Athletes of the Year

Laval (QC), Canada - John Kucera (Calgary, AB), Marie-Michèle Gagnon (Lac-Etchemin, QC) and Lauren Woolstencroft (North Vancouver, BC) took top honors among members of Canada’s alpine ski teams, each winning athlete of the year awards in their respective categories, the national governing body for ski racing in Canada announced Friday.

Vail Resorts Names Doug Lovell COO and VP of Keystone Resort

Broomfield, CO - Vail Resorts, Inc. on Friday announced that Doug Lovell has been promoted to chief operating officer and vice president of Keystone Resort, effective immediately. Lovell will oversee all operations for the resort and will report directly to Blaise Carrig, co-president of the company’s Mountain Division.

Congratulations to Lucas Bell of Victoria BC! You’ve won a one of a kind POC helmet painted by PaintHouse Customs! Lucas’s design was super clean, well thought out, and just plain bad ass! Like the helmets design, it contained both strait and curved lines and had a 3D element while maintaining a 2D image.
